The Segla Ultimax Carbon K-PRO is designed for paddlers who want a larger, more powerful blade with an immediate and positive catch. Its 670 cm² asymmetric Euro blade provides noticeably more resistance and drive than a conventional touring blade, making it particularly effective when acceleration and boat control matter.

The blade measures 47.5 × 18 cm and loads quickly at the catch, transferring power directly through the stroke. This makes the Ultimax particularly well suited to strong high-angle paddlers, dynamic sea kayaking, tidal races, surf, downwind paddling and situations where you need to accelerate the kayak quickly.

The K-PRO construction uses Toray 3D Carbon Fiber S700SC over an Etha-lite Foam Core. The result is a stiff and responsive blade with a buoyant feel in the water, helping the paddle recover cleanly between strokes while retaining the solid connection expected from a high-performance carbon paddle.

A Full Kevlar Strap Edge reinforces the perimeter of the blades against the knocks and impacts encountered around rocky coastlines, while Segla's Hydrophobic Nano Coating helps water shed cleanly from the blade surface.

The straight 29 mm carbon shaft uses Segla's Nano-Coated Ergonomic Grip for a secure hold in wet, cold and rough conditions.

The Vector Smart System provides tool-free adjustment of both paddle length and feather angle, allowing the paddle to be set up for different boats, conditions and paddling styles.

Two adjustable sizes are available: 208–218 cm at approximately 746 g and 214–224 cm at approximately 796 g.

The Ultimax isn't intended to be a low-effort touring paddle. Its larger blade rewards good technique and a strong stroke, but for paddlers who want a powerful catch and immediate response, it offers considerably more drive than a smaller touring-oriented blade.
