Academy Journeys are coached sea kayaking experiences focused on paddling real coastline, developing judgement, and spending meaningful time on the sea.
They’re not formal courses or assessments. Instead, journeys are about time on the sea, travelling by kayak and building confidence through real coastal days — with days shaped by conditions, the group, and the coast itself.
All essential sea kayaking kit is included if you need it.
Some journeys are about exploration and travel. Others are more reflective, helping paddlers pause, take stock, and gain clarity about where they are and what makes sense next.

Guided Sea Kayak Journeys
Coached coastal journeys focused on travelling by kayak, reading the coast, and developing sound judgement on the sea, with days shaped by conditions and the group.
Women’s Sea Kayak Retreats
Supportive, coached sea kayaking weekends led by experienced female coaches. Designed to create a welcoming environment to paddle together, build confidence, and enjoy time on the coast.
Club Weekends & Group Journeys
Journeys designed for established paddling groups and clubs, balancing quality paddling with time to socialise, explore new coastal areas, and develop confidence as a group.
Private & Bespoke Journeys
