Staying close to the Academy makes sea kayaking days easier, calmer and more enjoyable.
We offer simple, comfortable accommodation options right here at New Holmus Farm for people taking part in Sea Kayak Academy courses, journeys and kayaking holidays.
Staying on site means no extra travel, no rushing in the morning, and a relaxed start and finish to each day on the water.
Staying at New Holmus Farm (Our Base)
Sea Kayak Academy is based at New Holmus Farm, a quiet rural smallholding in the heart of Pembrokeshire.
Our accommodation is part of the same site where courses meet each day, making it easy to check kit, talk through plans, and head to the coast together once conditions are confirmed.
Accommodation is available only to people booked onto Sea Kayak Academy activities.
On-site campsite (Sea Kayak Academy participants only)
Our small on-site campsite offers a simple, quiet place to stay during your course. It’s a peaceful base surrounded by countryside and wildlife.
The campsite is suitable for tents, campervans and motorhomes and includes:
- Toilets and hot showers
- Washing-up facilities
- Spacious pitches
- Quiet rural setting
- Access to woodland, wetlands and our small lake
Camping costs £10 per person per night.
The campsite and Sea Kayak Academy facilities are reserved exclusively for people taking part in Sea Kayak Academy activities.
Holmus Cottage
Holmus Cottage offers a comfortable, self-contained place to stay on site at New Holmus Farm.
The cottage includes:
- One large double bedroom
- Crog loft with two single beds
- Open-plan living area and fully equipped kitchen
- Walk-in shower and en-suite bathroom
- Private garden with outdoor seating
- Parking on site
Holmus Cottage is well suited to couples, families, or paddlers who’d prefer a quieter indoor space to relax after time on the water.
Holmus Cottage operates as a separate holiday let and may be occupied by non–Sea Kayak Academy guests. Due to the layout of the farm, interaction between cottage guests and Sea Kayak Academy groups is minimal.

New Holmus Farm is a lived-in rural site, and there may occasionally be other guests on the wider site, though the setting remains quiet and spacious.
