Women’s Sea Kayak Retreat

The Women’s Sea Kayak Retreat is a supportive, women-only sea kayaking experience focused on confidence, connection, and enjoyable time on the water.

Led by experienced female sea kayak coaches, the retreat offers a relaxed and welcoming environment where women can paddle together, explore the coastline, and enjoy being at sea without pressure or expectation.

Retreats run either as weekend or midweek experiences, with dates chosen to make the most of quieter conditions and a slower pace of life on the coast.

What the retreat is like

The Women’s Sea Kayak Retreat is a guided coastal kayaking experience shaped by conditions, the coastline, and the group.

Each day includes time to paddle, explore, rest, and connect, with plenty of space for learning, conversation, and simply enjoying being on the water. Plans are flexible and adapt to the sea state, weather, and the needs of the group, rather than following a rigid itinerary.

The emphasis is on:

  • building confidence in real coastal environments

  • paddling at a comfortable, unhurried pace

  • feeling supported while trying new things

  • enjoying shared time on the sea with other women

Who the retreat is for

The Women’s Sea Kayak Retreat is suitable for women with some sea kayaking experience who are comfortable spending time on open water.

Experience levels within the group may vary. Coaching and routes are adapted to suit conditions and the people involved, allowing everyone to progress at their own pace in a supportive setting.

If you’re unsure whether this retreat is right for you, we’re always happy to talk things through and help you decide.
