The Segla Taikiu K-PRO is a premium bent-shaft touring paddle designed for paddlers covering distance and spending long days on the water. Its ergonomic shaft geometry promotes a more natural wrist position through the stroke, helping reduce the cumulative strain associated with extended paddling.
The Taikiu uses the same compact 610 cm² asymmetric Euro blade as the Ashika K-PRO, measuring 44.5 cm × 17 cm. Combined with the bent shaft, it produces a smooth, controlled stroke with an emphasis on efficiency and sustainable cadence rather than outright blade power.
The blades are constructed from Toray 3D Hex Carbon Fiber S700SC over an Etha-lite Foam Core, providing a firm and responsive feel while maintaining buoyancy between strokes. A Full Kevlar Strap Edge reinforces the blade perimeter against contact with rocks and shorelines.
The bent shaft features a Nano-Coated Ergonomic Grip for comfortable, secure control in wet conditions, while Segla's Hydrophobic Nano Coating helps the blades shed water cleanly on exit.
The Vector Smart System provides quick, tool-free feather adjustment, with two adjustable length options available: 208–218 cm at approximately 800 g and 214–224 cm at approximately 830 g.
