Sea Kayak Coach Training

The Sea Kayak Coach Training course is designed for paddlers who want to plan and deliver safe, enjoyable, and progressive coaching sessions on the sea.

This Paddle UK (formerly British Canoeing) endorsed training develops the skills needed to coach a range of paddlers in sea, touring, and sit-on-top kayaks in moderate coastal conditions.

  • Preparing for Sea Kayak Coach assessment

This is a training course only. Assessment is a separate Paddle UK process and is not included as part of this course.

By the end of the course, you’ll have a clear understanding of what to expect from assessment and how to prepare.

  • Group size: Small groups

  • Equipment: All equipment provided

  • Accommodation: On-site camping and local options available
